This class will run via Zoom for the first couple of weeks and depending on restrictions being further eased will resume at our studio after that. In this more advanced program we will cover lino carving/printing, mono and screen printing, ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, handicrafts and jewellery making plus many more. Each term we focus on different artists work and the techniques and materials in their work. Whilst the main focus is on fine art disciplines, we also feel it is important to incorporate an element of sculpture and handicraft techniques so students are offered a broad selection of skills. Aside from students learning some great art methods, we are big on making sure they are having fun and are able to express their creativity and individuality in a nurturing environment. This program is suitable for complete beginners and students with some drawing ability.
- Each week we focus on a different technique and medium.
- Many completed artworks, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and handicrafts.
- Great art skills that can be used at home.
- A healthy snack.
- Just yourself, all materials provided.
Casual, it might get messy. Aprons provided.
