This instructional workshop will teach you all you need to know to get started with creating foam crafted pieces, like foam armour, props, etc. This workshop differs from our "Beginners Guide to Foam Crafting" as it does not include a hands on portion and is purely about explaining and demonstrating techniques.
This class is a companion to the 'Foam Armour Making' workshop that will be running after this one. It is not essential that you attend both, but highly advised if you are interested in making your own costumes or using the techniques from this workshop in a hands on format.
Workshop presenter: Chantelle Norton
A Brisbane based self taught costume maker with 5 years of experience in both fabric and foam based costume making. She graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Film and Television Studies and Writing. (Full details of our workshop presenters can be found on the About Us page of our website).
