When people hear chain maille, they usually think of amour. But chain maille can be used for anything, from jewellery and art to costumes and medieval armour.
In this class you will learn the basics of chain maille for jewellery making while being shown how to make a helm rose using the helm chain weave. The helm rose can be used as a pendent or combined with other weaves to make other jewellery such as bracelets.

- Correct way of opening and closing rings
- Materials to make up two helm rose pendants to take home with you
- Use of our tools
- Chain maille tutor for 2 hours
- We have a lounge area and coffee machine for non-participants to use
- You don't need to bring anything
You must wear enclosed footwear.
Ages 12 and up. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

We do welcome you to pass your ticket to a friend to come in your place. Please email us if you do wish to change the name on the ticket. In the event that the class is cancelled by Hobbymedo, fees will be refunded or alternative dates offered.
