Come join us at Hobbymedo for late night DIY, our centre has a large range of equipment and craft supplies.
Hobbymedo provides a safe, friendly and well equipped public space for customers to undertake hobbies and small DIY projects. Whether you enjoy crafts for the thrill of the creation, the relaxation therapy or just for the fun of it, you’re not alone at Hobbymedo. We have everything set-up ready to go, our staff are happy to help you with your project and best of all you get to leave the mess behind.
The craft area caters for ages 6+ and includes craft tables, drafting tables, drawing paper, acrylic paints, paint brushes, cutting mats, beading and macrame boards, adhesives, cutters, clay sculpting tools, styrofoam hot wire cutter and more. The other areas are aimed at teenagers and adults. The sewing area has an overlocker, two sewing machines, embroidery machine and felting machine as well as a range of sewing accessories. The leather working area has a full range of leather working tools including a mini anvil. The computer area has two desktop computers and a laptop, a wide format printer and a 3D printer. The general workbench area has wire benders, jewellery pliers, jigs, clamps, hot glue gun, picture frame joiner, hand tools, mini spray paint booth, glass cutter and other bits and pieces. The dremel area has a range of dremels and accessories set up and ready to go (lots of fun to be had here). The woodworking area has a wood lathe, drop saw, scroll saw, mini table saw, drill press, band saw, router table, sander/linisher, cordless power tools, hand tools and more. We have a limited range of materials for sale and we also have a recyclables area with free to use materials.

Hobbymedo is a hobby activity centre located at Capalaba on Brisbane's southside. It is an air conditioned centre with tools, equipment and facilities catering for arts, crafts, sewing, graphic design, 3D printing, woodworking, leatherwork, wirework and much more.
Cancellation Policy: As we purchase materials based on the number of attendees for each workshop we are unable to refund tickets. We do welcome you to pass your ticket to a friend to come in your place. Please email us if you do wish to change the name on the ticket. In the event that the class is cancelled by Hobbymedo, fees will be refunded or alternative dates offered.

If you wish to use public transport to get to this event, please visit Translink. Off-street customer car parking is available at 75 Redland Bay Road - just follow the driveway around the back of the Baby Bunting store.
