Description

Ever wanted to learn how to screen print? Come screen print your very own tote bag and paper print with us! Learn to transform your own design or an existing image into unique works of art made just by you.

The course not only provides you with the basic skills of screen-printing onto fabric and paper using hand cut stencils but also plenty of hands on experience. This is a unique opportunity to produce editions of your very own screen printed products & walk away with the know-how to start printing at home! You will leave this workshop with a few paper test prints, a 30x42 cm print on archival paper, and a printed tote bag.

We will provide screen printing equipment and all other materials - just bring yourself and a design you'd like to work with!

We Will Cover:

  • “placement” screen-printing onto readymade fabric products and paper
  • how to adapt your design for paper stencils
  • cutting out your stencil and preparing your screen
  • prepare the fabric & screen
  • print a “placement print” using a screen & squeegee.

BYO:

  • Come with a 1 or 2 colour design idea on paper
  • wear an old shirt & closed shoes & let’s get your ideas printed!
