Back by Popular Demand!
New Dates: Sunday 9th & 16th October, 2016, 10am-4pm.
Follow your artistic instincts, learn new stitches and techniques, enjoy some relaxing stitching in company with others, in a space safe from interruptions & distractions, and take home your completed mandala art piece.
The word mandala comes from the ancient Sanskrit word for circle. Humans have always found circles fascinating and comforting. A glance through the latest craze of colouring books for adults will show you many designs based on a circle filled with various patterns.
Tutor Zara Parker will lead you through the process of choosing colours and designs, so that your completed piece is unique and satisfying.
Tutor: Zara Parker wears many hats! A qualified yoga teacher and photographer by training (among other things) she is an accomplished artist/maker in several different crafts (her works regularly appear in-store, and her photography in our EyeCandy newsletters) She also teaches our Crochet workshops, and contributes to Saturday Embroidery and Brooch-a-Month.
