Guest Tutor: Trace Willans
In this two day workshop, you will enjoy the thrill of creating unique art pieces made through natural dying.
You'll begin by learning to bundle dye using locally gathered plant material to print with the plants onto the fabric, giving excellent detail and beautiful effects. Then take this further by exploring the possibility of layered works on paper or cloth with stitch, soy milk, ink and using egg as a print medium. There will also be a small indigo vat to play with. By the end of the two days, you will have several small individual pieces of completed work to take home.
Materails Fee: $10 please pay direct to the tutor on the day.
