Be exhilarated by the visually striking artwork of Freiderich Hundertwasser (1928 ~ 2000) a modernist painter and architect. His use of colour, line, mark and texture is wonderfully inspiring to all textile artists, especially feltmakers.
This is a design and technique based class where you will use a combination of felt making techniques to create samples of various marks and textures before making your own work of art.
Learn how to make pre-felt pieces then explore their use in combination with no-sew appliqué style techniques to develop your felt art piece – add surface stitch as much or as little as you desire.
Suitable for new feltmakers but not absolute beginners.
