Stitching should be relaxing and grounding, but sometimes it isn't. These three 2.5 hour Saturday afternoon classes will help you slow down and enjoy the process. Your tutor Robyn will lead you through a series of exercises so you stitch more and think less. You will improve your skills and increase your intuition.
Date: Saturdays, 29 July, 12 August and 19 August 2017 Time: 1:00-3:30 pm
Class fee: $165 (includes some materials)
About the Tutor: Robyn Steel-Stickland has a qualification in art therapy, with around 20 years of experience teaching crafts and textiles. She's also now spent over six years at the helm of Opendrawer. Robyn is expert in encouraging adults to play & explore more, and is the originator of our ArtPlay course, now in its 5th semester. This class was inspired by Robyn's own stitching practice, the utter gorgeousness of silk, wool and cotton thread, and the wonderful history of vintage threads and textiles.
