Singing Sticks: Intro to Didgeridoo

Description

The didgeridoo is synonymous with aboriginal culture but these days the instrument has spread far from the sacred land and law and into the wider musical world.

Tom the Pom has been playing didgeridoo for 22 years. His love of the instrument brought him to Australia and ultimately becoming an Australian!

About Tom the Pom

Tom Harding keeps busy leading workshops in schools and the community, performing in Samba Ninja and Ukulele-Oke, some stuff on TV and whatever sounds good.

His record to date is teaching 1,140 people to drum in two cities in six days!

He believes that music is not a competition, but a game. A game everyone can play and everyone wins.
