About Phoebe Linguini
Phoebe Linguini is a professional hula-hoop artist with over a decade of experience. And she’s keen to impart the ways of the hoop to you! A long-time dance enthusiast, she picked up the sport in 2006 and has been hooping ever since, attending international conferences and working hard to keep abreast of new developments in the art. She is an Australian Sports Commission accredited coach.
In her spare time you will find her sipping exotic tea from around the world, commentating combat robotics battles, dreaming up new colour combinations for hoops and being moved by music wherever it is present. Her favourite thing about hooping is that it has made her thighs more powerful – one step closer to being classified as a deadly weapon by the government.
Phoebe Linguini has worked with/for:
Little Creatures Live, Opera Bar, NOVA 96.9, Jurassic Lounge, Alison Wonderland, Microsoft, Willoughby Council, Merivale Group, Cure for Life Foundation, Art Gallery of NSW, The Sony Foundation, The Children’s Hospital Silver Party Annual Fundraiser, ART Melbourne, Les Mills Group.
