ABOUT ERIN HARRINGTON

With a jazz musician for a father and a theatrical mother, Erin’s love of music started very early. At the age of 6, Erin began Violin and Singing lessons, studying via the Australian Music Examination board and Trinity College. From completion of a Bachelor of Popular Music, Erin formed a 4 piece band, “Miss Elm” which produced 3 EP’s and was recognised as a finalist in the “Folk, Singer Songwriter” section of the Queensland Music Awards. Miss Elm travelled around Australia for 4 years and played in many popular festivals such as the SPRUKE Ukulele Festival, Caloundra Music Festival and the Teneriffe Festival.

From working at the Ukulele Specialist Store, Morris Brothers Music; Erin grew a love of Ukuleles for their simplicity, transportable size, powerful sound and variety. Erin quickly became the expert on all things Ukulele and developed her own unique sound.

Erin is now passionate about helping others find the joy of Ukulele and how it links to mindfulness and meditation.
