Description

This class will introduce students to all the skills required to make clean and simple finished round cake. Students will also learn the techniques needed to create an eye catching Marbled Fondant Cake.

-Learn how to mask a round cake in ganache using the "lid" method to achieve the famous Australian Method - "Sharp Edges"

-Learn how to knead, roll out and apply fondant to a round cake to achieve the famous Australian Method - "Sharp Edges"

-Learn to colour fondant and create the amazing marbled effect. 

-Learn how to cover a cake board with fondant and trim the board with ribbon.

-Learn how to apply Silver Leaf to your cake.

-Learn how to apply dusts or paints to a "pre made" flower to tie it into your design, and how to attach the enhanced flower to your cake
