Canvas painting for kids

This class is all about showing kids the joy of painting on canvas. In this three-hour class, students will learn how to stroke, glaze, and colour their way to their hearts’ desires. This not only enhances their creativity skills, but also gets them hooked on painting, giving them an avenue to truly express themselves through canvas.

In this three-hour class, students can choose from different pieces on the shelves such as dinner plates, cereal bowls, or drinking mugs to paint on. The session includes all firings and glazing of all unfired pieces.

Coco Chocolate School Holiday Program

If your child can’t get enough chocolate, this one’s perfect for them. Sydney Chocolate School’s resident chocolatier ensures a fun environment for the class, who will get to witness scrumptious chocolate being hand tempered on marble, right in front of their eyes. After which, everyone gets involved in making chocolate freckles, bars, lollipops, and other child-friendly chocolates that are sure to get their mouths watering. After all, who doesn’t like chocolate?

Sausagedogfest Holiday Program

Crazy for dachshunds? You’re not alone! In this class made specially for dog-lovers, students will be enthused by making sausagery art, that is, art dedicated to sausage dogs. That includes silly drawings, paintings, or sculptures, which are a great way to nurture your child’s creativity and love for man’s best friend. Outdoor breaks at the Bieler Park playground are also permitted.

Nature day holiday program

Give your kids an opportunity to get off the screen and enjoy the wonders of nature in this kids’ holiday program dedicated to “nature art”. Nature art is art created by using natural materials such as sticks, leaves, flowers, gumnuts, feathers and other natural materials to create amazing sculptures along with clay. In this class, students will be off to the races collecting materials out in the open, and then bring them back to the studio to create their one-of-a-kind artwork.

Handbuilding with clay

Forget Play-Doh; let your child play with real clay and be surprised by what amazing things they can create! In this two-day workshop, kids will learn to apply pottery hand-building techniques like pinching, potting, or slabbing to a lump of clay. Everyone comes away with a bowl, mug, or maybe even a flying pig sculpture they created by hand! All pieces will be fired and glazed at the studio.

Sew kids club - after school kids classes!

And when the holiday is over and your kid wants to keep the learning going, this afterschool class is just the thing! This workshop teaches your child everything they need to get started sewing. Students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, practise basic stitches, and finish small sewing projects, such as a tote bag and a patchwork cushion.
Your child will come away with the confidence to get started with bigger projects in the future. Suitable for ages 8-13 years, with no sewing experience required.
