



Tiny Stitches
Description
In this one day workshop, you will be introduced to the techniques of tiny stitches, exploring how to apply them to fabrics using different fibres.
Mini Embroidery caters for both beginners and experienced creators and is an amazing way to express ideas, tell stories, share, using some of the most traditional of stitching techniques.
What you will learn
- This intense weekend workshop will cover approximately 12 different types of stitching used in one of the oldest crafts currently making a huge revival in contemporary arts and craft.
What you will get
- Expert tuition from an experienced teacher!
- Includes all materials.
What to bring
- Students can bring any fibres they would like to stitch with, including cotton or polyester threads, pieces of fabric or clothes; anything they think would like to stitch.
What to wear
Students need to wear old clothes.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.
We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.
Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open 7 days a week, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Enrolments are taken on a ‘first in first served’ basis.
A Deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
Please be advised that your contact details will be made available to your Workshop Tutor who may need to contact you over the duration of your course. Please notify us if you prefer that we do not do this.
