19 November 2019 • Consolidate & Advance Jewellery Making (Stage 4-9)

The course teaches techniques that are very practical. Phil’s idea does keeping a personal logbook/ storyboard of my work is helping me considerably. Looking forward to next year!

11 November 2019 • Consolidate & Advance Jewellery Making (Stage 4-9)

I have blathered on in previous reviews about how good this experience has been for me, how good Phil is and how the people on the various courses held on a Thursday morning are friendly and very supportive. In my last course on one day Phil extolled us to open our horizons even more and move even further out of our comfort zone. The result is that this artistic Philistine has looked further for inspiration for my jewellery. Thank you Phil. I should like to repay you by taking you out of your comfort zone, perhaps come skydiving with me in control of your rip cord:) Additionally I should also give a big shout to Robyn, the true backbone of Contemporary Metal. Robyn takes charge of all the admin work, (and no doubt even more behind the scenes). If she did not do this then this Organization would not exist. Well done Robyn. HOWEVER. Robyn, may I respectfully suggest that you make a booking with Specsavers. Kevin

11 November 2019 • Consolidate & Advance Jewellery Making (Stage 4-9)

It always has been and continues to be a highlight of both my growth in understanding silver-work and social connectivity to join the classes at Contemporary Metal. Loads of laughter, great interaction along with painstaking upskilling of the hands and 'grey matter' all under the kind, wise and humorous guidance of surely one of the best practitioners in Australia. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
