Workshop on Argentine Tango

  • The introduction to Argentine tango dance will focus on history, music and specific movements of tango. This workshop is designed to give the participants the start of amazing journey in Argentine tango.
  • Dancers will learn how to listen to music, to connect to the partner and move together.
  • To understand what is special about Argentine tango and how it is different from all other dances.
  •  Learn the first steps of Argentine tango.
  •  How to use those steps in tango, milonga and vals.
  • A basic list of orchestras and sings will be given. This will help dancers to get familiar with different genres of Argentine tango.

What to bring
  • Water
What to wear

Wear comfortable clothes that let you move. Flowing skirts, gaucho or Capri pants are a good option for women. For men, jeans are fine or pants that are loose and allow movement. Please, no shorts.
