Pantsula is energetic dance that emerged in South Africa in 1950s. With its main feature, the fast paced footwork. Pantsula has some well known grooves such as the gwaragwara which took the world by storm. Rooted in the spirit of empowerment and freedom, it is a joyous dance that will challenge you, get you sweating and smilling at the same time.
Thuba Ndibali is a Dancer, Dance Teacher, Model and award winning film maker. Grew up in the township in the second biggest city Bulawayo in Zimbabwe. He was heavily inﬂuenced by the street corner dancers commonly known as Pantsula in Southern parts of Africa. Pantsula being his signature style, when Thuba arrived in Australia in 2008, he was exposed to other styles such as popping, ticking, bonebreaking which were quite identical to Pansula. In 2010, he was recruited into the Boys Hip Hop in the Schools Spectacular. His passion for dance grew as he began participating in dance battles across Sydney and being actively involved in the street dance community. He then began formal training in 2013 in styles such as Contemporary, Latin American, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop for 3 intensive years to earn a Bachelor degree in Dance (2016). From then he has appeared in commercials for Nike,Telstra, Fitbit and taught Pantsula at well known studios such as Dance Central, YourHiphop Class and more. Thuba has also performed in Shaun Parker & Company’s TUT, Jeans for Jeans campaign for curing childhood disease, was a workshop leader for BIGDANCE 2018, a development dancer and understudy for KING. In 2018/19, he toured with Madiba the musical which was a celebratory show of the life of Nelson Mandela. In 2019, Thuba was featured in the South African City Press as a forefront choreographer in a new Pantsula move called “Pouncing Cat”.6

Dance Central offers an extensive range of dance classes and workshops for adults and teenagers at our centrally located Sydney studio.
Styles include Hip Hop, Funk, Salsa, Bollywood, Dancehall, Belly Dance, BreakDance, Burlesque, Samba, Popping, Showgirl, Booty Dance, Tahitian Dance, Hulahoop and more.
Dance Central Sydney requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund, credit or transfer.
Refunds, credits and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing.
We do not offer refunds for missed classes.
For cancellations prior to the 48 hour cut off, email Dance Central Sydney to organise a refund, credit or transfer.
There are no fees for refunds, credits or transfers.

Anyone partaking in any Dance Central classes, workshops and/or events must agree to the following three terms and conditions:
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
There can be a risk of personal injury associated with dance and exercise. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit for the class.
Dance Central accepts no responsibility for any injury incurred during classes, workshops and/or events.
2.) PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
You are responsible for ensuring that your personal possessions are safe and secure at all times.
Dance Central accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any personal possessions.
3.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Dance Central Sydney unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Dance Central Sydney classes, workshops and/or events. (for use within Dance Central Sydney marketing materials).
By participating, you agree to all three above conditions.
Dance Central Sydney requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer.
In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
