Backyard guinea pigs for families
Description
If you already have guinea pigs, want the children to be more involved in their care or are considering getting them as a family pet then this is the workshop for you.
Join Farmer Rae at Edendale and learn the basics of keeping guinea pigs at home. You will learn about what to look for in a guinea pig hutch, what to (and not to!) feed them and how to look after them in hot weather. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and advice!
You will leave with a greater understanding on how to have happy and healthy guinea pigs at home.
This workshop is designed for all members of the family. Please note this workshop is suitable for school children ( 5 years and up) if your child wishes to attend, accompanying adults do not need to pay to provide supervision.
