Bee a Pollinator! Native Bees, and pollination

Suitable for school children (5 years and up)

Over 20 people have attended this class

Description

Join Katrina Forstner, Founder and Educator from Buzz and Dig, to learn all about bees!

This session will introduce families to native bees, pollination and increasing urban biodiversity. This workshop aims to bring joy and wonder to children as they self discover insect biodiversity and urban sustainability on a micro level in the garden. Nurturing a sense of respect and excitement to living creatures whilst learning about the important role bees have to enable us to grow healthy food.

During the workshop you will get the opportunity to make some bee seed bombs to take home and plant in the garden to attract pollinators to your backyard. Please note this workshop is suitable for school children ( 5 years and up) if your child wishes to attend, accompanying adults do not need to pay to provide supervision.
