Chef Mirco Speri will guide you through preparing a typical 3-course lunch of authentic regional specialities. The class will conclude with lunch where you will enjoy the dishes you have made together, accompanied by white and red wine from the Veneto region.
Mirco is from Verona in Italy's lovely Veneto region, very famous for its local cusine. Mirco attended hospitality school in nearby Bardolino and began his career doing seasonal work in various restaurants.
For the next two years, Mirco worked aboard the Princess Cruise boat and then moved to the one-Michelin starred Stefano Cavallini Restaurant in London. Mirco then continued at Neat, France, before moving to Melbourne in 2006 to take up positions at The Point followed by The European before finally landing at Thirty Eight Chairs.
