Bees Wax Food Wraps with Simmone

Description

In this workshop participants will learn how to use bees wax to make their own bees wax food wraps.

Participants will choose from fabrics provided on the day to make a bowl cover and a square wrap.  This workshop will teach participants tips and tricks to get the best results for their wraps, the best fabrics to use and how to care for their new wraps.  

This workshop is unsuitable for those who are allergic to bee products or pine products.

All materials provided. 

Suitable for participants 12+.  We use an oven to melt the wax and participants are required to handle hot materials.

These workshops are conducted by some of Brisbane’s finest artisans to give you a hands on approach to learning your new skill. With many classes also providing the materials, all you need to do is turn up and start creating!

I have been to Simmone's classes before and always enjoyed them. She explains clearly and is very patient, great for beginners in a craft. The Beeswax Wraps were great and I now feel I can easily do it at home as well.
