Cut, Glue and Style your own paper plant at home.

In this Hands On At Home workshops you will learn how to make your own paper plants at your own pace in the comfort of your home. Materials are provided for the Nasturtium and the Swiss Cheese Vine. 

This workshop features a 14 page PDF with photos, a video, and a materials kit posted to you. Please read entire description for details.

We will post you a kit including 9 sheets of paper, florist wires, florist tape, a white pencil and templates,  plus a 14 page PDF emailed to you, and a short video guide.  You PDF also includes a buying guide for tools and materials.

What you need at home

  • Scissors
  • Glues, a glue stick and a liquid glue, e.g pva or fabric glue
  • A small pot
  • Florist foam (available at any florist)
  • Small Pliers
  • Wire cutters (optional)


How your ticket works.  Choose your ticket date.  The date of the ticket is the approximate date your posted order will be delivered (if within Brisbane).  Our post option will post to anywhere within Australia, but may take a little longer.

*We will contact you within 48 hours of your ticket purchase to confirm details, including postal address if you are choosing that method.. Make sure you include the correct email address and phone number.

**This workshop includes steps that should only be taken adults.

***This workshop is on demand. You do not need to attend at the time you have booked for. The date and time is the time of the approx. arrival of your kit. We cannot list the workshop without a date and time.


Please note, the number of tickets that you can choose from to purchase reflects the number of total tickets still available, if you cannot select multiple tickets it means there is only 1 ticket/space left in this workshop.

Suitable for: Participants 12+.  Participants 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

These workshops are conducted by some of Brisbane’s finest artisans to give you a hands on approach to learning your new skill. With many classes also providing the materials, all you need to do is turn up and start creating!

As we purchase materials based on the number of attendees for each workshop we are unable to refund tickets. We do welcome you to pass your ticket to a friend to come in your place. Please email us if you do wish to change the name on the ticket.

Enclosed Footwear is required by participants at every workshop. Hands On Brisbane reserves the right to refuse entry to a workshop if the attendee is not wearing suitable attire.

Participants are required to sign a waiver at the workshop they attend. Participants are to follow instructions, safety precautions and advice when given.

Participants are required to arrive on time.  Our workshops will start on time.  If you are not attending on the day please contact Hands On Brisbane using the contact information in the mail out that is sent a few days before the event.  If you are unable to attend on the day please pass your ticket on to a friend.  As we prepare in advance for the number of attendees we are unable to offer you a refund.
