Learn a variety of felting techniques that allow you to create unique pieces of jewellery from small stones held securely in place by felted fibre.

Your tutor Sue Hilton has been experimenting with wool fibre since I was at Secondary School. For the past 20years felting has been my passion. Over those years I have created mainly wearables from clothing to hats and bags. I have taken inspiration and learnt from many local and international tutors. When the fibre is transitioned into felt it takes on a life of its own which needs to be tamed like a Potter moulds the clay into a pleasing form.
