Your tutor Jan Brown I have been an enthusiastic dyer and spinner for nearly 50 years with a background in industrial chemistry
If COVID -19 restrictions are increased and classes can no longer be held at the Guild this class will be held online via zoom

- A Selection of beautifully coloured braids and skeins for use in your next project
- A knowledge of the effects of order, saturation and hue on the results obtained
- Material Fee of of $10 to be paid at time of booking
- Multiple lengths of top and or skeins.

The Guild's aim is to bring together those who practise handweaving, spinning and allied crafts and to help and encourage them to increase their knowledge, understanding and skills by discussion, demonstration, exhibition, teaching and the provision of quality resource materials.
Our Guild rooms house an excellent library and craft supply, sell members work and host a wonderful range of interest groups, classes and workshops.
We have members and affiliated groups throughout the state.

Cancellations and refunds
The Guild reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient numbers. If we cancel the workshop you will be notified and will be issued with a 100% refund.
If you decide to withdraw 7 or more days prior to the workshop/course date the Guild will retain a 10% administration fee.
If you decide to withdraw less than 7 days before the workshop/course date the Guild will retain 100% of your workshop fee.
No refunds for missed classes.

This was a fantastic day and we had a lot of fun experimenting with colour! Jan was knowledgeable, helpful and informative and I learned a lot! Would recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn about colour dying! YvonneL

I am a newbie to this experience and thoroughly enjoyed learning about dye and colour by being encouraged to immerse myself and enjoy creating, 'playing' and having 'fun' with the techniques and dye selection. Jan was on hand to provide clarification, support and encouragement, as well as other HWSGV members. It was a great class to attend and it provided for a very broad range of abilities and interests.
