Kate’s Urban Eden is a unique urban community garden concept, where anyone can learn about the principles and benefits of sustainable gardening (permaculture) as well as healthy, seasonal food in a fun, hands-on way.
The aim is to give people the opportunity to learn about how to design a permaculture garden and then giving them practical skills through planting, growing and then cooking the produce on-site.
It will be a hands-on experience for young people (primary school students) as well as their parents either in separate or mixed groups of 8-10.
Our mission is to inspire people to live a healthier lifestyle by understanding and working in harmony with the seasons. We will do this by delivering practical courses (based on Permaculture principles) that benefit individuals, families, the community and the environment itself.
