We felt very welcome. I learned that I can use my pestle dipped in flour to press the pastry into muffin tins for the delicious smoked duck, feta and spinach quiches. Great idea. Also the benefits of leaving a whole duck on a rack in the fridge for 24 hours to dry out the skin so it will be extra crisp. Parboiling potatoes before coating them in duck fat is one thing I'll certainly be cooking soon. I feel more confident about cooking duck breasts after receiving your excellent instruction. Everything was made clear and simple and we loved the whole evening. Thank you.
Duck was always something that I put into the too hard to cook basket ... but I couldn't have been more wrong! Wendy showed us that it was actually not as hard or as time consuming as I had thought. The demo class was well presented - obviously Rhonda & Wendy make a great team - both professional and friendly. The demo kitchen is set out well and it's great there is a screen to view intricate details that you could otherwise miss. The menu was well balanced and show cased a lot of the products - really happy to taste afterwards. Great opportunity to purchase duck products after the class - Thanks will be back for a hands on class :) Highly recommended
