Description

Whether you are a beginner or advanced sewing enthusiast, a boy or a girl, you will love our one day sewing courses these school holidays.

Beginners are learning all the essentials of how to thread and use a sewing machine, and then move on to cutting out and sewing their own tote bag (after the bag they can chose their next follow on project for any subsequent classes. Bring in your own machine (we show you how to use it) or use one of ours at no extra charge.

For continuing, intermediate and advanced students, bring in a project you are currently working on and need help with, or email us prior for some suggestions. This is a perfect time to learn to read a sewing pattern, pick up some nifty sewing techniques and tricks of the trade. HSC students will love help with their textile projects.

Our teachers are friendly, fun and trained in fashion design. We aim to create a relaxed atmosphere and a safe learning environment where your son or daughter can learn exciting new skills while having a great time. We have yet to have someone attend our classes who didn't love it.

This course goes over one day from 10am to 3pm. We provide fresh filtered water to our students but please remember to pack a sandwich and a couple of healthy snacks to keep up their energy throughout the day.

Ages: from 9-17

Also, if you have a group of a minimum of 5 friends, we may be able to organize a class at a different time/date just for you and your friends.
