About This Class

Description

Melbourne Food Tour is great for couples or small groups looking to explore the Melbourne food scene on their own personal tour.

This walking, talking and tasting discovery will guide you through Melbourne’s most delicious foodie secrets.

Along the way we’ll learn about Melbourne's foodie history, culture and architecture. The tour kicks off at Federation Square and makes its way through the beautiful lanes, arcades and alleys that define modern Melbourne.

The group will enjoy tastings at the best and most interesting chocolate stores, bakeries and spice stores including Ganache Chocolate, Phillippa’s Bakery and Gewürzhaus Spice Store.

We explore Chinatown for the newest cocktail bars and enjoy Chinese egg tarts and authentic Indian samosas. Our next destination is Spring Street Grocer for Italian artisan gelato followed by tastings in their cheese maturation cellar.

The tour will also showcase the amazing restaurants in the vibrant Flinders Lane and Collins Street precinct.

Concludes with a glass of wine and shared plates at Supernormal (New Restaurant of The Year 2015).

A culinary tour de force to the very best Melbourne has to offer!
