07 June 2017 • Advanced Barista - Barista Courses

This was a great course and really went into the difference in how a coffee can taste. We experimented with one roasting with variations in grind, weight, pour, tamping pressure (not deliberately), amount of hot water added, and amount of milk added (by weight to compensate for air bubble volume.) The differences were very tasteable even with a mild toast coffee. These guys really know about coffee as an artisan gourmet experience. It was two interesting hours, small class of 2, excellent instructor, well worth the money. Also I had lunch afterward in the coffee shop and the food was brilliant. My overseas and interstate friends are so envious we have this calibre of training open to the public in Canberra.
