CLASSICAL ATELIER: LIFE DRAWING with Troy Argyros
March 17 - June 30 2 -5pm
Unique in Melbourne, our figure drawing classes use natural light only, to fully understand and appreciate the subtleties of the human form.
Open to students and professional artists., and based on the traditional European Atelier teaching style, this class is for artists and students interested in studying the fundamentals of classical figure drawing, with one three-hour long pose per week.
Working with a different life model each week, this class is for those interested in developing skills in academic figure drawing, with plenty of practical demonstrations and individual support available. It is understood that students may be at different skill levels, and each student will receive appropriate feedback. Tuition is optional, all materials are supplied.
Students will develop technical and observational skills, including structure, proportion, an awareness of form, gesture, and seeing, rhythmic connections of the body and describing the human figure accurately.
