Are you a group of graphic designers, students or artists who want to learn more about Riso printing? Riso printing is a fun and affordable method of creating artworks, zines, posters, invites & more. Its eye-catching colours and affordability make it especially suitable when you want to create something unique in a small print run.
Last year we invested in renting a brand-new ME9350 Risograph press. It prints two gorgeous paint-like spot colours (like our signature fluro pink or the bright gold) at once on paper ranging from 60-400gsm, giving you a handmade effect that you can't get with digital printing.
We operate the only publicly-accessible DIY Risograph printing service in Sydney. We are non-profit and want to share our love of Riso printing with you.
In this 1-hour workshop we'll run through things to think about when designing a print for the Risograph and then print a 2-colour work to show you how the press operates. There will be time to ask questions and run through ideas about any print projects you are planning. You are also welcome to book in extra time after the class to print.
This private class can fit up to 12 people and is offered at a substantial discount to our regular Learn to Riso print class (https://weteachme.com/rizzeria/1014632-learn-to-riso-print), which can be booked individually. We are also happy to tailor the class to your group, so please let us know if there's anything special you'd like us to cover, for example printing photographs on the Risograph or separating CMYK artwork.

The Rizzeria is a non-profit collective run by people who are designers, artists, zine-makers, print-makers, animators and creative entrepreneurs. We own a two-colour Risograph press which people are welcome to come in and use with the assistance of a volunteer. Over the past eight years we have helped people print their graphic design assignments, posters, comics, invitations, zines, art prints, CD covers and much more.
Our Marrickville space also functions as a retail outlet for Rizzeria members and local artists. We run workshops in risograph printing, bookbinding, screenprinting, watercolour, illustration and much more.
If you are interested in running a workshop or stocking your work with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our refund policy for workshops - We do not refund workshop tickets, but are happy to transfer you to another date/workshop. Please provide at least 48 hours notice.
