Kitty Cardwell from Mrs C and Me is a Sydney-based illustrator and printmaker who runs kids and adult print workshops as well as selling a range of handmade greetings cards and prints.
I learned the basics of how to use the riso printer and techniques to print different effects. The instructor shared her own personal experience using the printer and how to achieve certain looks. IMHO, It was a very good value especially if you are planning to use the printer there, rather than jumping into booking the printer without having a clue. At the end of the workshop, we were shown works from artists/illustators/designers and it really gave you perspective on what the printer can do. Kitty, the instructor, was very lovely and friendly.
It was useful to learn how to operate a riso printer. It has similar outcome as screen printing but faster process. I enjoyed the class!
We learnt how to use the risograph machine. The highlight was finding out how to participate in the Rizzeria space with the technology.
