Adults Rollerskating Lessons | Sydney Harbour Bridge (1.5 Hour)

We teach rollerskating according to a syllabus covering stopping, moving and turning. Learning outdoor rollerskating skills makes you a better skater than someone who only skates on a rink. Beyond the basics we can also teach you how to handle stairs, cracks in footpaths, how to perform tricks such as spins, backwards skating, etc and teach you more specific roller derby skills that will assist you in trying out for a roller derby team.

We are flexible! Organise your own group or have a private lesson!

Welcome to Rollerskating Sydney

Rollerskating Sydney offers rollerskating lessons and equipment hire. Certified skating coach James O'Connor, is passionate about teaching skating and has over a decade of experience. Our aim is to encourage more people into rollerskating and we focus on getting skaters ready for roller derby skating skills try outs or being able to join in on outdoor skates. Our lessons are primarily on weekends but also on weekdays after work.

As a SkateVIC Accredited Roller Derby Coach, Internationally Certified Instructor of Skating Instructor Association (SkateIA) and qualified high school educator James will teach you how to skate whether you're a first-timer or just need a refresher. Many of our beginners have gone on to play Roller Derby with leagues such as SRDL (where he has been involved as a coach and referee).

James also runs and has coached at Ausport endorsed 1800-Reverse Street Active Skate Clinics in NSW, ACT and NT (A national program for aggressive inline skating | rolling).
