A single class, designed to teach new students the basics of throwing on the wheel
When: Saturday Afternoon - 1.30pm to 4pm
What you will learn:
- How to centre your clay on the wheel
- How to form cylinders
- How to create simple bowl forms
When you choose this class you get to skip most of the technical stuff and will get away with not having to knead your clay or finish your pieces. We will have the clay all prepared for you and will teach you the basics of throwing and help you to make a few basic forms. Then, all you need to do is come back and pick up your masterpieces around four weeks later.
All materials and firing are included in the class price. Sajo Ceramics Staff will finish your pieces for you after the class. You will be able to select your 6 best pieces for firing at the conclusion of class.
