This workshop is suited to anyone interested in creating a hand formed organic planter using slabs. No experience necessary.
Hand forming techniques will be demonstrated including how to roll out clay , incorporating texture and constructing layers to form a Planter. A mixture of stoneware clays will be offered & tools are also provided. Students can make up to 2 planters on the day.
There is an additional firing & glaze fee ($25) for those wishing to have their work glazed and fired. This includes firing the work twice which the studio/teacher will do. Students will be notified via email when work is ready to be collected.
A light lunch will be provided as well as drinks.
Please wear closed shoes in the studio.
The Studio is a comfortable working space with air conditioning complete with showroom.
