Stefan Gevers has been running Contemporary watercolour  classes in Melbourne since 2009. He is a professional, award winning, exhibiting artist with over 25 years experience. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Over the years Stefan has taught accredited courses at CAE and TAFE with excellent student feedback and has run workshops and masterclasses  Internationally and Interstate.

Stefan's work with watercolour typifies the creative and design style of his original homeland with his approach to minimalism and subtraction. He takes a contemporary approach to working with watercolour.  His work is inspired by the natural environment & delicate shifting patterns in nature are often a starting point for his paintings. 

Stefan’s work has been collected by the Victorian & Queensland State Libraries, Artbank the NAB collection, and numerous private collections throughout Australia and Europe. He has been awarded the Yerring Station Sculpture prize & the Banyule Art Prize "environment Award.

Stefan exhibits widely as a solo artist and as part of collaborative exhibitions.
