Description

Activities include hula hooping, juggling, static trapeze, acrobalancing, stilt walking, acrobatic jumps and dynamic tumbling. We also play lots of games and work with each participant at their own level.

Other stuff:

  • These workshops are for ages 6 and up. Existing Swoop students are also welcome.
  • Please pack morning tea, lunch and an extra snack (circus is hungry work!) as well as a big bottle of water.
  • Shorts, leggings, t-shirts/singlets are recommended. Please do not wear jeans or skirts.
  • Kids will be given 20 minutes for morning tea and 45 minutes for lunch. The hall has kitchen facilities available (fridge etc) if needed.

Swoop Troupe t-shirts are also available for purchase during holiday workshops for $20.

Swoop Physical Theatre was born in 2004 and has since spread a love for physical theatre to thousands of kids, adults, teachers and students. Swoop has previously been the theatre in residence at Glen Street Theatre in Belrose, taught at hundreds of schools throughout NSW and has held numerous professional development workshops for Australian drama teachers.
