Discover the limitless potential within the use of this luminous, tactile and beautiful medium for the creation of fused and lumped glass jewellery components.

Create your own unique pendants, earrings or brooches combining various glass products, composition, colour and design.

Receive instruction in the firing process to fuse and slump glass. Your teacher, Jan with over 20 years of experience in working with glass, will supervise this and ensure you have at least one item ready to take home by the end of the day.

There are a number of complementary mediums to enhance the design construction of your glass pieces, such as wirework/chain maille, metal clay and traditional metal work/stone setting. SJS offers classes in all these mediums to help advance your glass work.

Please note: Fusing and slumping glass takes time and adidtional items made during the day may require additional firings after the workshop has finished. Please see 'general information' for details on collection options.

SJS also offers a kiln firing service which will allow you to continue working with glass in the future by having access to a kiln if you don't have one. See About / Our Services, for full details.
