Our first Raclette Event was simply stunning. It’s on again!
The Cheese Maker and Matters of Taste Cooking School join forces to take you on a night of discovery of Raclette Cheese.
Enjoy a glass of mulled wine on arrival before Tanya from The Cheese Maker takes you through a tasting of amazing raclette cheeses and you learn more about this special cheese.
We'll then introduce you to the Swiss tradition of a Raclette meal, where you'll enjoy copious amounts of luscious, melted raclette cheese served with traditional partners. Be mesmerised by a half wheel of raclette nestled on a specially designed grill as we serve layers of warm deliciousness slathered over kipfler potatoes with accompaniments such as glazed free range leg ham and homemade crunchy pickles. Lovingly prepared by Tracey Cotterell from Matters of Taste, Tracey will talk you through each accompaniment and tips for re-creating them.
It's an evening of pure indulgence with a good splash of education and entertainment. You’ll leave with a full tummy, a renewed love of life, a healthy respect for Raclette cheesemakers and new friends!
