Description

Tantalise your tastebuds with Chaat - Learn how to make some tangy treats the Indian way!

In Indian households, food is cooked with a great deal of attention to cleanliness; to the balancing of nutrition, flavour, texture and variety. That being said, the non-vegetarian fair is simply amazing too! Dishes are cooked in a way that the spices used in cooking non vegetarian dishes aids the body, helping digest the meal.

A lot of thought has gone into the traditional foods. Everything is cooked in a way that it helps and nourishes the body. the oils used and the method for cooking are based on the climatic conditions and how it affects/nourishes the body. The spices used play an important role in our everyday life. Just to name a few.... Fenugreek as a digestive aid, cumin has multiple usages, dried legumes and beans are great protein sources, pepper is the best home remedy for colds and coughs, turmeric is the wonder healer of wounds. Curry leaves and coriander leaves aid cleansing the intestines and kidneys.

Every ingredient used in the cuisine has a purpose, that goes beyond its taste and texture.
