Description

Kelly Lord, from The Spirit House on the Sunshine Coast is one of Queensland's best Asian chefs!

One of Queensland's most talented chefs cooking Asian, Kelly is meticulous about making real Asian food, he will teach you how to re-create the authentic flavours and balances that you will find on the streets in Vietnam. Using beautiful ingredients to create authentic flavours, your food will taste just as good!

This class will give you all the know how you need to become a master of these fresh exciting flavours, and how to make it all come together into a delicious feast.

Prawn Vietnamese Spring Rolls: With fresh herbs and peanut dipping sauce
Pickled vegetables
Caramel Duck: Slow cooked duck w ginger & orange
Marinated Salmon: Pickled vegetable salad, fresh herbs & hot & sour dressing
Grilled Pork: BBQ pork w spicy green pawpaw and peanuts

Come along on your own and make some new friends, or make a group get-together.  Our classes are great fun in a friendly atmosphere in our beautiful historic building. 

* Please note, our classes require a minimum of six participants to operate, you will be eligible for a refund or re-schedule if a class does not go ahead.

The best way to prepare the vegetables and also cooking successfully with a wok. I will be booking for another class, this is a fantastic facility in Toowoomba and would highly recommend. Rhonda

Fabulous day. Learnt loads about Vietnamese flavours and certainly will make me more adventurous when cooking at home. Now I feel confident to roll and present Vietnamese rolls. I would highly recommend this class and have had work colleagues wondering where there invitation was. Will definitely attend further classes.
