Description

Daisy Cooper’s hand built ceramic wares are reminiscent of times gone by - of a slower life where afternoons were spent meandering along the riverbank, gazing up at the native greenery, or of nights spent staring at the sparkly dust of the milky way.  After all, this is where Daisy gathers her inspiration for her much sought after range of hand made ceramics - growing up in rural Scotland, has kindly delivered such vivid memories, evident in her ‘river like’ glazes and speckly white plates seen the world over (Jamie Oliver has used Daisy’s work in his Food Revolution series - yes, Jamie Oliver!).

Due to popular demand, Daisy will be back at The Windsor Workshop (after MANY sold out workshops!!!). You will be treated to a session of slow clay, hand building pieces from scratch.  You will be able to choose glazes from Daisy’s range - pieces will be fired and then returned to The Windsor Workshop for collection.

Venue was a modern space. Good location with access to train/trams. Belinda and Daisy were lovely. Course instructions and time allowed to create was adequate. Daisy was helpful walking the room to advise on work. I appreciate the time and effort of all, to make this event happen and I am looking forward to seeing my glazed pieces.

Such a creative space to learn a new skill and enjoy some precious time hand building a ceramic mug. Professional and warm teacher, Daisy Cooper. shared her knowledge generously. Bel from Windsor Workshop is an exceptional host and ensured we were welcomed and comfortable in her space. A terrific afternoon, thanks Bel and Daisy.
