We love our community of Thinkers, Makers and Doers.
We're keen to hang out with you and get to know you a little better.!
Creative Confidence Club is a craft night on a mission. Bring your latest project and all the materials you need, it can be knitting, crochet, drawing, calligraphy, macrame, embroidery, watercolour, leather work or really pretty much anything and share it with the group.
The CCC is a place to discuss your latest project, how you're feeling about your creative journey, meet like-minded creatives and make some new friends. This craft night will be run by Sam of Mossfolk (@moss_folk) and there will be a strong focus on and discussion around creativity as a mental health outlet, motivation and creating meaningful social connections.
No matter where you are in your creative journey, you're welcome to attend. We welcome all skill levels and encourage you to attend even if you've never crafted or tried anything before. It's a night to tune out that little voice in your head that says you're not creative in an environment that is supportive, encouraging and most importantly judgement free. Everyone is creative and sometimes it's just a matter of practice and finding the right support to try something new.
Our workshop space is set up with tables and chairs. Let us know if you need a stand to make macramé from or anything else special.
The CCC is a low-cost social gathering, we only ask for a small cash donation of $10 to cover costs for the night. Feel free to bring along food or snacks to share with the group, though Think Thornbury is strictly nut free. We will also provide some basic arts & crafts materials if you do not have a creative project you are currently working on and/or would just like to come and have a play or try something new.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or need our help.

Think is a combined shopfront and creative workshop venue in Thornbury founded in 2017 by Melbourne artist Maggie May (from the Middle Aisle), and musician and educator Joshua Kelly.
Think formed to nurture and support a local community of artists and creators, while simultaneously empowering people to develop creative thought through their interactions with artists’ products and workshops.
The store has a strong focus on local Australian made and ethically produced products, whilst the workshop venue connects customers directly to these makers through workshops and other creative events.
Bookings are strictly not transferable to other dates. Please double check the date of the workshop before booking, cancellations will result in forfeit of payment.
Please note there are no refunds on classes and classes cannot be switched post booking. By purchasing this class you agree to these terms and conditions. However, if you’re unable to attend please feel free to send someone else in your place.
We often take photographs during our workshops to share through our instagram @thinkthornbury or with our community. Our photographs often contain your hands while you work but may also show your face. If you do not consent to have your (or your child's) photograph taken and shared on our social media platforms and/or website please let us know before the workshop begins.
You can send us an email prior to class email@example.com or just give us a heads up at the start of class.
We want to make sure you feel comfortable and at home in Think Thornbury!
