  • Fusing interfacing, how to sew the crotch seam and finishing side seams
  • Sewing an invisible zip, checking your fit, attaching a waistband or waist facing and hemming

What You Get

  • Instructions to make the pants
  • A copy of the pattern
  • A pair of trousers that are flattering on a huge variety of figures with a wide leg

Pattern Design: These pants have a flat front, feature a low waist and wide leg. They are incredibly flattering!  These pants are not lined, take this into consideration when choosing your fabrics and avoid scratchy/itchy material. The pants are finished with your choice of a waistband or waist facing and closes with an invisible zip in the side seam. Our pattern waist measurement covers from a 68cm to 108cm. If you wish to make pants outside this range, please email us and we will grade a pattern ready for your workshop.

Photographed Sample: The pants photographed have been styled for Winter's cool days.  They are made from a grey wool in a medium weight.  See more photos of our sample - click here.

Notes on supplies: Ensure you select a closed end invisible zip (not the very similar light weight open ended zip). This pattern is not suitable for knit fabrics. For directional prints, stripes/checks/plaids and fabrics with nap you should purchase extra fabric.  Click here to read about choosing the right interfacing. For best results - pre-wash your fabric to reduce shrinkage.
