Pattern Design: A relaxed fit, long line cardigan with a shawl collar made from knit fabrics - perfect for layering. It's ideal for those days when Melbourne's weather just doesn't know what it wants to do. During construction you'll get to stitch the seams with the overlocker, use machine stitches, as well as cover a few tips about working with knit/stretch fabrics.
Photographed Sample: Grey double knit fabric. Click here - to see how amazing this cardigan looks pinned at the shoulder with a broach.
Styling Ideas & Notes On Supplies: Two way stretch knits in natural fibres will work well. This pattern does not include a lining, take this into consideration when choosing your fabrics and look for fabrics that are attractive on both sides. For directional prints, large prints and fabrics with nap you should purchase extra fabric.
For best results - pre-wash your fabric to reduce shrinkage.

Great class and teacher. Finished a beautiful, practical cardigan in class.
Really great class and easy pattern! I thoroughly enjoyed this class
This was a great class, and I now know how to make my own comfy cardigan. Learnt some great techniques for overlocker and working with stretch materials. Also learnt how to use the double needle to make nice finishing edges.
