Adrienne Kneebone spent 12 years in the Northern Territory mastery the craft of weaving as well as working extensively with women from Western Arhnem land. She has a lot of skills, knowledge, and storytelling to share and finds enjoyment in the atmosphere of a weaving group. Her skills range from basket twining to native grass cobbling through to bush toy making.

She now resides by the Yarra river in East Warburton where she has adapted to weaving with the local plant material. Her classes are light-hearted and enjoyable as she draws the creative spirit from people.

Wonderful class, and perfectly timed for a wet and gloomy day outside. Adrienne is a great teacher and even though I'd done a class with her before, I still got a lot more out of this class. Perfect for new and experienced weavers. Can't wait til the next class!

I enjoyed the instructions and my "basket" made of freshly harvested road-side grass looks more like an energy bar for a frisky rabbit it helped me past the hesitation of trying this type of baskets . Today at vegetable store I bought fresh corn on the cob especially for the nice husks and might even eat the corn later. Looking around there are a lot of plants with big strap leaves that would make some very nice baskets and I did find a plant nursery nearby for occasional free trimmings. Not to mention the the exotic color selection of bricklayer's twines at the building supply. Inspiring, thank you.
