Adrienne Kneebone spent 12 years in the Northern Territory mastery the craft of weaving as well as working extensively with women from Western Arhnem land. She has a lot of skills, knowledge, and storytelling to share and finds enjoyment in the atmosphere of a weaving group. Her skills range from basket twining to native grass cobbling through to bush toy making.

She now resides by the Yarra river in East Warburton where she has adapted to weaving with the local plant material. Her classes are light-hearted and enjoyable as she draws the creative spirit from people.

Great course. Adrianne is a welcoming and lovely person with a clear teaching style. She made us all feel like our weaving work was wonderful and beautifully unique.

With this workshop - it’s highly likely you walk away with so much more than a handmade object, some new or improved skills and a belly full of laughter. Whilst it was a wonderful crafternoon, it was also a very good opportunity to connect with others, being in the moment and feeling welcome and accepted. Stimulating and positive conversation was exchanged - Adrienne made everybody feel at ease, she intuitively assisted her students when and where needed and offered extension for those who excelled. A perfect antidote - a fantastic feel good moment. Hands down 5 stars from me.

I enjoyed this weaving retreat, struggled with my own concentration, but learning something new can be challenging. The Instructor was very accessible and accommodating. And the venue was casual and comfortable.
