The experienced tutors help create a warm and productive atmosphere to work in and many students return for years on end. Fundamental skills and techniques are introduced and developed through a range of mediums including painting, drawing and multimedia with an emphasise on enhancing observational skills by working directly from life. As well as the structured four week short courses, individual projects can be developed and long term attendance arranged at a discounted fee.

Join us as a complete beginner wishing to express yourself and learn the basics, to brush up on your existing practice or anything in between.

The traditional art studio offers beverages, nibbles and an inspiring music play list to work to.

Artclassco has an annual 'salon exhibition' at the end of the last semester where students work is on display for family friends and the public to enjoy.

11 June 2019 • Art Retreat in Lorne NEW DATES COMING SOON

I have no hesitation in recommending the ArtClassCo / Qdos retreat. I really have nothing negative to say. This experience so worthwhile and I came away with more appreciation for myself, met some amazing people and learnt to paint, collage and see things with different eyes. I'm excited to put to use what I've learnt.

03 March 2019 • 4wk Mentoring & Studio Practice Feb 7 - ONGOING

I'm 3 weeks into this 4 week class and have really enjoyed Jacqui's teaching. She has been able to teach to my current abilities without taking me back to the start, and has already inspired me to work towards building a body of work. I'll definitely be coming back.

Hi Aprill,

Thanks for you feedback, I will post it online. It has been great having you in the class. How is your homework going? Here is the link to the award...,

Hope to see you back again soon, Jacqui

13 August 2018 • Figure Painting MASTERCLASS Saturday Oct 20th

Jacqui is a very gentle teacher, this is my first time to learn oil painting. I thought I will freak out but actually I was not. Jacqui always went around and looked after every student, gave her advices. Also, the model is so professional and beautiful, she created a lot of beautiful poses for us to practice painting. I’m so happy go home with a lot of painting by myself, and one of my favorite painting became a birthday gift to my friend. Everything is wonderful!

Hi Camilla,

Hope you are well. I only just discovered how to reply to feedback so thanks very much for taking the time to comment. Im now teaching as well at VCA which is exciting.
