Flower arranging: it’s not as easy as it looks. Typically, it requires more than the ability to toss a bunch of flowers into a vase or some other vessel to turn it into a statement piece. If you’ve been wanting to learn more about the business of buds and blooms, well, get ready to dig up some dirt (literally).
Brisbane’s resident flower experts, Francesca’s Flowers, are holding an afternoon workshop on 9th June at their own studio, to celebrate the love for native and wild flowers. Native flowers are now increasingly on trend and there’s a beautiful range of them at any time of the year.
In over three hours, the wonderful ladies at Francesca’s Flowers will teach students every important thing they need to know about florals and how to arrange them. Students will learn tricks of the trade, some important principles such as composition and flower choice, as well as buying tips and wrapping design styles. By the end of the class, you will have created a gorgeous wildflower arrangement that is sure to get heads turning.
Floral Workshop (Naturally Natives) will run on Saturday, June 9th, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Find ticket prices and more details about the class in the link below.
