Save the Bunnies

Did you know that rabbits are the third-most abandoned animals in shelters? Seriously. Just after cats and dogs are bunnies.

That’s the inspiration behind Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, a non-profit organisation that operates as an incorporated association. It’s a public charity, run by a committee under Australian Law, with membership and a small dedicated group of volunteers. The Orphanage receives no government funding and is reliant on donations and fundraising. It is an entity that belongs to all people that care about the welfare of pet rabbits.

The Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage aims to provide care for sick, unwanted, stray, or mistreated rabbits, facilitate appropriate short-term care, medical treatment, and rehabilitation treatment, provide long-term re-homing solutions, educate the public on rabbit ownership and care, prevent unnecessary euthanasia of rabbits, and discourage cruelty to rabbits.

Because they’re reliant on donations, we’re partnering with Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage for the 2018 Winter in Wonderland Trivia night on 4th August!

Since 2013, this annual event has been hosting fun-filled trivia, live and silent auctions, and games… all for the rabbits! Be sure to grab your tickets for this amazing event, and participate in an international movement to save the bunnies!
